Ms Angela O'Sullivan is a chartered physiotherapist and the founder of Shankill Physiotherapy Clinic, which she established in 2004. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1997 and later completed a Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy at University College Dublin. Angela further specialised in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, successfully completing the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine examinations in 2000.
Angela has extensive clinical experience across several hospital-based disciplines, including respiratory care, orthopaedics, and neurology. Over the years, she has developed particular expertise in treating musculoskeletal and lower limb injuries, including the prescription of orthotic devices to support recovery and improve mobility.
She is actively involved in sports physiotherapy and is a member of the panel of physiotherapists who travel with Athletics Ireland. Angela also works with local sports clubs and has a strong interest in athletics, golf, GAA, rugby, tennis, and hockey.
Angela treats a wide range of conditions, including spinal problems, sports injuries, orthopaedic issues, and rheumatological conditions. Her treatments include neural and joint mobilisation, spinal manipulation or mobilisation, electrotherapy such as ultrasound and laser therapy, and therapeutic massage. She works closely with local GPs and consultants to ensure coordinated patient care.
