Mr Andrew Diver

Mr Andrew Diver is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon working at both Beacon Hospital and St Vincent’s University Hospital. His specialist interests include trauma-related reconstruction, burns surgery, hand surgery, and skin cancer treatment.

He trained across Belfast, London, and Auckland, New Zealand, before completing specialist plastic surgery training and joining the GMC specialist register. He has previously worked as a consultant in Newcastle upon Tyne and at The Royal London Hospital, where he later held a substantive post before returning to Ireland.

Mr Diver is actively involved in professional surgical organisations. He is a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and the Irish Association of Plastic Surgeons, where he also serves on the Scientific Committee. He holds several leadership and educational roles, including positions with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, where he contributes to surgical training, mentorship, and specialty board leadership.

Alongside his clinical work, he is an instructor on international burns courses and maintains a strong academic profile with over 40 peer-reviewed publications. He also serves as an editorial board member for leading plastic surgery journals, reflecting his ongoing contribution to research, education, and surgical standards internationally.
