About Amy Heazle

I’m an accredited psychotherapist supporting individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. I offer a warm, respectful space where you can explore what’s going on for you—whether that’s whether that’s identity, self-esteem, body image, or life changes.

I have particular experience working with neurodivergent individuals and members of the trans community, and I’m committed to providing an inclusive, affirming environment where you feel understood and supported.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked as a Special Needs Assistant and Social Care Worker, supporting children, adolescents, adults, and their families. This experience continues to shape how I understand and support people at different stages of life.

In my practice, I support people who may be struggling with their relationship with themselves—whether that shows up as self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty with self-acceptance. My approach is tailored to you, drawing on evidence-based therapies to help you better understand your experiences and make meaningful changes.

Taking the first step can feel difficult— I'm here to support you when you're ready to reach out.

I wasn’t quite sure what we would end up talking about but those can be some of the best sessions. In this particular session (and many others before), Amy offered some insight into previous observations that I found very helpful. Also, Amy has a great way of making me think about things slightly differently, which I need.

Amy is a fantastic therapist that truly listens to you and treats you with respect and kindness. She always listens thoroughly & offers relatable and realistic solutions to any problem I have. I wish I found her sooner, as the progress I have made with Amy is incomparable to that of other past therapists.
