Ms Aisling Coen

Ms Aisling Coen is a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist at Galway University Hospitals, where she has worked full-time since December 2017. Her role involves clinical work in hand therapy, outpatient orthopaedics, and a broad range of musculoskeletal and rehabilitation-related services.

Prior to this, she worked as an Occupational Therapist at Beaumont Hospital in 2017, with a focus on neurosurgery and rehabilitation. She previously held a post at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust from 2016 to 2017, where she worked in stroke rehabilitation and orthopaedic care.

Ms Coen completed her BSc in Occupational Therapy at the University of Galway, graduating in 2015. She later completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Musculoskeletal Assessment and Practice at the University of Essex between 2023 and 2024.

Her clinical work focuses on rehabilitation, upper limb and hand therapy, musculoskeletal assessment, stroke recovery, and orthopaedic outpatient care.
