Dr. Adas Darinskas

Dr Adas Darinskas is a highly experienced Biotechnologist with extensive experience in research and the practical application of cell technologies. His expertise spans immunology and immune therapy for cancer and autoimmune diseases, the molecular mechanisms of ageing, regenerative medicine, and gene and tissue engineering. He is highly skilled in mammalian cell cultures, molecular biology, and immunology.

Dr Darinskas earned his Master’s Degree in manufacturing advanced therapy medicinal products, specialising as a qualified person, from Universidad de Granada/Iniciativa Andaluza en Terapias Avanzadas in 2016. He completed his PhD in Immunology at Vilnius University in 2008, following a Master’s Degree in molecular biology in 2002 and a Bachelor’s Degree in molecular biology in 2000, both from the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Vilnius University.

His professional skills include the production and certification of advanced therapy medical products, mammalian cell culture, laboratory animal surgery and disease models, and various methods in molecular biology. Dr Darinskas is also an inventor with patents to his name, including one for xenogeneic normal tissue-derived vaccines for breaking immune tolerance to tumour-associated antigens (2016) and another for a method of isolating stromal vascular fraction (SVF) cells from adipose tissue and their use (2015).
