About The Health Lab
The Health Lab is a remote blood testing clinic dedicated to providing world-class blood testing services in accessible locations across Ireland.
The Health Lab was founded by Mark, a pharmacist and avid fitness enthusiast. Mark spent nearly six years living in South America, where he regularly had blood tests to monitor his health. These tests were inexpensive and easily accessible in any city. Upon returning to Ireland, Mark was surprised to find a lack of easily accessible blood testing clinics. Most options required paying to see a GP first or driving long distances, which was far from ideal.
Frustrated by the inconvenience and high costs, Mark started The Health Lab in 2023. He believed that no one should have to pay a private doctor fee just to have blood drawn or take time off work to check their cholesterol levels. His goal was to bring blood testing to where people actually are—pharmacies, fitness centres, workplaces, and more.
The Health Lab's main location is at Life Pharmacy in Kill, making it the perfect spot for blood tests in Kildare. There are also locations in Dublin, with the potential to offer testing services throughout Ireland. The mission of The Health Lab is to make blood testing convenient, affordable, and accessible for everyone.
Whether individuals are keeping an eye on their fitness, managing a health condition, or simply staying proactive about their health, The Health Lab provides the testing they need, where they need it with no doctor refferral necessary.

My partner and I recently had the Platinum Test with The Health Lab, and we couldn't recommend them more. Mark, in particular, was incredibly helpful, responding to all our queries so well and quickly. We're so lucky to have a service like this in our area. The entire experience was professional, seamless, and reassuring. We'll definitely be returning every year for our annual health checks.
I got the Platinum Blood test & Advanced Allergy test done. Both tests easy to do, just a number of blood vials & a urine test carried out on site. Fast appointment. For me, easy access & NO horrible trip up to Dublin as I went to their Kill location. A major plus for me. Both tests done on a Wednesday & Blood report back Monday & Allergy report on the Wednesday. Extensive Blood report, very well documented & explained. Easy for me to understand & see. Both tests even have a synopsis report at the back for your doctor. The Allergy report, which is slightly smaller, is as informative as the Blood test. Tests are dear but for me well worth every penny. Mark gave me a 10% discount for doing both. Highly recommend it & couldn’t fault it. A great idea Mark - well done.

My experience with the health lab was pleasant. I had no issues booking an appointment. The location is easy to find. No wait time, and the customer service was great as well. Results were ready on time. I would highly recommend.
Siobhan was so lovely and welcoming and it was quick and easy and painless and I love the little circle plasters instead of the tape and cotton wool nice touch !
