My time at Smarmore Castle has really changed how I look at life. When I arrived, I felt like I was caught in a cycle I couldn't get out of no matter what I did... but with the support, structure and care I found here I've been able to rebuild myself in ways I never thought I'd manage. The therapy and guidance helped me understand myself in new way and bit by bit I started to appreciate the small things in life again like my amazing family, health, friends, the small things. Smarmore gave me the space and the support to see that life is worth so much more than a quick high and I'm leaving with a fresh outlook and hope I'll always be grateful for what the team here have done for me and the part it played in helping me turn things around.

I recently completed a four week programme and from the very second I walked in to Smarmore Castle, I was made feel at ease very quickly and throughout my whole stay, all of the staff made me feel very welcome. The treatment programme itself is intense but it has made the world of difference for me and for my loved ones and I very much owe my new found self, to the wonderful care and work with the staff from the Animals to the Therapists in Smarmore Castle.
