Medico work with ENT consultant surgeons in the Bons Secours, The Lee Clinic, Mallow Private hospital and South Terrace private ENT clinics in Cork and the Whitfield clinic in Waterford.
Services include diagnostic hearing assessments, hearing aid assessments and fittings, tinnitus, hyperacusis and misophonia assessment and management, paediatric audiology, microsuction ear wax removal, custom hearing protection, hearing aid servicing and repairs, and ongoing hearing rehabilitation. As an independent practice, Medico Audiology has access to hearing technology from a range of leading manufacturers, enabling its audiologists to recommend solutions tailored to each patient's individual needs.
The team comprises highly qualified Clinical Audiologists with a combined 40 years of experience across the HSE, NHS and private healthcare sectors in 4 different continents. Had a blocked ear with wax and went to get the wax removal. It was very quick and there was no pain and it cleared the ear and I have my hearing back now in the left ear so can’t complain.

My daughter needed a last minute appointment for her blocked ear and Medico were able to accommodate her. The practitioner who saw my daughter was fantastic and solved her problem swiftly and painlessly. She explained the micro suction process clearly and was very gentle with my daughter. Hearing test was requested by Dr Harney who’s treating me for a fungal infection and a perforated ear drum. I requested a test and got one to suit my shift schedule and my next appointment with Mr Harney. The test experience was explained very clearly and I was put at ease throughout the whole thing. Muireann was very professional and listened to my experience and following the test, she went through all the findings and put my mind at ease before leaving the room. Excellent experience.
