Medico Audiology is an independent, clinician-led audiology practice providing hearing healthcare for adults and children in Ireland. With clinics in Cork and Clonmel, the practice offers evidence-based assessment, diagnosis and management for a wide range of hearing concerns. Medico work with ENT consultant surgeons in the Bons Secours, The Lee Clinic, Mallow Private hospital and South Terrace private ENT clinics in Cork and the Whitfield clinic in Waterford.
Services include diagnostic hearing assessments, hearing aid assessments and fittings, tinnitus, hyperacusis and misophonia assessment and management, paediatric audiology, microsuction ear wax removal, custom hearing protection, hearing aid servicing and repairs, and ongoing hearing rehabilitation. As an independent practice, Medico Audiology has access to hearing technology from a range of leading manufacturers, enabling its audiologists to recommend solutions tailored to each patient's individual needs.
The team comprises highly qualified Clinical Audiologists, Olwyn Morris, Muireann Holland & Poren Kwong. They have a combined 40 years of experience across the HSE, NHS and private healthcare sectors in 4 different continents. We had an exceptional experience at this clinic. Despite the language barrier, we were made to feel completely comfortable and at ease. The patience, kindness and professionalism shown throughout the appointment were truly appreciated. We felt very well cared for and would highly recommend this clinic.

Had a blocked ear with wax and went to get the wax removal. It was very quick and there was no pain and it cleared the ear and I have my hearing back now in the left ear so can’t complain.

Olwyn Morris
Olwyn is a highly skilled audiologist with over 15 years of experience, specialising in adult and paediatric diagnostics, hearing aids, and comprehensive rehabilitation. Her audiology journey began in 2007 during her psychology studies at the University of Nottingham, where she conducted psychoacoustics research under Professor Bernhard Seeber at the MRC Institute of Hearing Research. Professor Seeber’s work on sound processing in the human ear has led to significant improvements in hearing aids and cochlear implants, inspiring Olwyn’s commitment to advancing hearing care.

Muireann Holland
Muireann is a highly experienced clinician with expertise in adult and paediatric audiology, hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus management, and microsuction ear wax removal. Since graduating with an MSc in Audiology from University College Cork in 2019, she has worked across both public and private healthcare settings, including HSE Community Audiology services in Dublin and Limerick and private audiology clinics in Cork.
