Dr Paun understood exactly what my issues were with my breathing and nose from the first appointment and advised me to have the nasal septum surgery as it was the right step for me. He gave me time to decide if this is really what I wanted to do and explained what the outcome might be like. Truthfully, the results are better than I could have imagined. My deviation was quite severe in the first place which is perhaps why I have experienced such positive results but generally it was pleasant to deal with Dr Paun throughout. He explained everything well and suggested other ways I can help myself with my breathing in addition to surgery. Eg by running an allergy test. The recovery from the operation was more sore than I had expected and I would recommend a full week off work to recover, I thought I could work from home after the op but I actually needed around 4-5 days of rest. To others who have the same level of deviation as I did, I would recommend this surgery. It got slightly infected but Dr Paun suggested some medicines that cleared this up within a couple of days. All in all, a positive experience dealing with him and his secretary and I am very glad I chose to go through with this procedure.
