Dr Oak is an outstanding doctor and surgeon. Dr Oak made me feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire process, from the day of consultation up until the operation. I had myomectomy done, a removal of a considerably big fibroid which caused me many difficulties. The operation went smoothly, with no infections and no complications. My healing process was good as well and I’m now back to my normal life activities. I’m grateful for Dr Oak’s work and I recommend him if you have the same issue that I had.

Mr Oak, very professional and efficient

What an amazing consultant,words cannot describe how Mr Oak rescued me from poor NHS Gynea consultant who has left me 3 years suffering from Fibroids with bad haemorrhaging and zero quality of life I had been begging my NHS Gynea for hysterectomy and his answer was it’s too risky,you have adhesions ,you might end up with Stoma bag or damage to your other internal organs.So I was offered Novosure Ablasion which the consultant said am going to do it but with your fibroids it will not work .I said why do I have to have an op that will not work and the NHS consultant said Because that’s the safest!!At that point I had had enough of NHS . I went Privately to see Mr Oak at BMI London Independent Hospita,where I was treated by the whole team with dignity and respect. Mr Oak straight away reassured me that despite having 3 Caesarian Section I can still have hysterectomy safely.Within 3 weeks since first consultation I had Subtotal Hysterectomy done by Mr Oak and his team. I am now 9 weeks post op,with no complications,no perforation of my internal organs ,no Stoma bag ,but my 100%self and even better than the last 3 years.I am now recovering very well ,and happy to have got Mr Oak as my Gyneacologist. I can go on and on but ladies I highly recommend Mr Oak as your consultant.He has saved and changed my life.I can’t thank him enough.I am looking forward to my new life thanks to Mr Makarand Oak❤️

On my 1st day of meeting with Dr Oak, I was very nervous and wasn't to sure what to expected. I was told that I have fibroids and that I will need surgery. Dr Oak made me feel safe and went into details of everything. Anything I was unsure about Dr Oak knew the answer. Day of my surgery, I felt fine just because of the care and full details of what was gonna happen surgery. After the surgery the care I had was amazing. So polite, patients and overall love and care the nurses and everyone gave me made me know I could get better and start my life again. I want to thank Dr Oak for everything.
