My experience at the Princess Grace hospital went really smooth. All the staff gave me a lot of reassurance before my operation and great aftercare.

It was an overall good efficient service

When I read the NTF newsletter about Queen Square starting focused ultrasound I did not dream that just five weeks later I would have the treatment. I took a week to ask for an assessment and was in London being interviewed, tested and scanned by a very friendly and encouraging team. I was very apprehensive on the morning of the treatment but soon got involved in the preparation and then the process with eventually realisation that it is working. It is hard to describe the treatment as other than interesting and exciting. The whole team were very supportive and encouraging - I couldn’t have wished for more. I have independence which wouldn’t have been possible before. I can now do anything that I wish using my right hand.
