Nice clean hospital with lovely attentive staff

During my procedure, I was unlucky, and the nurse in charge of helping me through the night after the surgery was very bad; she was more concerned about dismissing patients than my awful pain, so I kept complaining until the head of nurses went and helped me. Overall, all the other staff were very friendly and helpful during my recovery and procedure.

I am beyond impressed with the level of care I have received from the Holly Private Hospital and it’s amazing staff. From my initial visit, the staff have been exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive. The check-in process for each department has always been smooth and efficient, and I’ve quickly been seen to. The medical team, including doctors, nurses, and support staff, was outstanding. They demonstrated a high level of expertise and dedication, ensuring that I was well-informed about procedure and treatment plan. The staff ensure that post procedure my family who had come to visit me and take me home were well informed on after care. Every member of the team from the nurses, anaesthetists and doctors took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions thoroughly, making me feel valued, cared for and ultimately safe. The facilities at the Holly House are top-notch. The hospital is clean, modern, and well-equipped. My room was comfortable, and the environment was calm and conducive to healing allowing me to focus on preparing myself mentally for my procedure. Overall, my experience at The Holly Private Hospital has exceeded my expectations. The combination of skilled professionals, great facilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care makes for an exemplary institution.

HCA ancillary staff were excellent and friendly, putting me at ease. The one exception is that despite being fully covered by private medical insurance (incl pre-authorisation codes and competing multiple online forms and confirming details) the HCA administrative/ reception staff on arrival were overly focused on (and their primary priority is to) obtain credit card details and associated authorisation for extra procedures and tests which go beyond the scope of the referral and pre-authorisation in case suggested. The requested authorisation is open-ended and requested at a point when patients are vulnerable. The HCA admin staff were unable to explain why authorisation was required in my circumstances with full insurance coverage - all they could manage was a weak “it’s just our process”.

Ótima experiência com a Dra. Marília. Como paciente psiquiátrico, é essencial que durante a consulta nos sintamos acolhidos, ouvidos e que se gaste tempo explicando o transtorno e o tratamento. Dra. Marília foi a quarta psiquiatra que vi em quatro meses, e a primeira a me acolher. As recepcionistas também são muito atenciosas. Tudo foi feito por WhatsApp, e elas sempre solícitas e amigáveis.

Efficient and insightful. My concern was that I would be encouraged to have surgery but I was rightly recommended to try physio first.
