He has always ensured I am informed to make decisions, whilst being provided with kindness and compassion at such challenging times. I have ultimate trust in his recommendations which has always been minimal invasive breast cancer surgery, which resulted in no pain following surgery. I cannot thank and recommend Dr Andrew Pieri enough!! After 10 years of not having any confidence in the way I look and always feeling embarrassed about my chest I now feel amazing! Right from the first consultation Andrews knowledge of how to achieve the exact natural results I was after and his constant support with any queries I had up until the surgery was amazing! Absolutely the best surgeon ever. Highly recommend. Extremely caring and attentive, he has a very calming and reassuring nature. I am still under Mr Critchley’s care, and have been since January 2024, for breast cancer care, a mastectomy, and recently delayed extended LD flap breast reconstruction. Cancer is the most difficult thing I’ve ever been through, but I feel in very safe hands with Mr Critchley, and trust him fully. He listens to your needs, and answers everything in a thoughtful and precise way to ensure you understand the process. His skill as a surgeon has blown me away, I have had a new breast made out of back tissue and muscle, and it genuinely looks amazing. It feels and looks so natural, and I am so thankful that it has allowed me to feel more like myself again after the cancer, so thank you Mr Critchley, you are perfect.

From my first meeting with Mr Basu, he immediately put me at ease about my result and potential treatment. He was very empathetic in delivering my result, and I felt he was with me on my journey. His ability to explain all the variations of my cancer and where it sat in comparison to others was clear and left no room for confusion - the addition of drawing simple diagrams alongside his explanations were a bonus, as I was able to refer to these easily when explaining to my family and friends. Throughout he has maintained a friendly, professional manner, providing a positive attitude; and especially following surgery, my husband felt confident and reassured by Mr Basu’s words and body language. Providing my surgery result, which was good news, it was lovely to see Mr Basu joyful as he delivered this; again emphasising that he was on this journey with me.
