Explanation

Dr Malley has been my consultant rheumatologist for the last year and seen me through a stressful and life-changing sickness. At each step he has been attentive, compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. He has taken time to answer questions about the smallest things and been quick to follow up any queries or worries I have along the way. He has excellent knowledge about health in general as well as rheumatological conditions, and is up to date with recent research about my rare illness and medications. He's been fast to react when I've needed additional tests or treatments without alarming me, and has talked me through treatment options at each stage, knowing when to escalate treatment and when to scale back. He has been an extremely reassuring presence throughout a traumatic year - extremely positive while remaining realistic and encouraging – and I couldn't have felt in safer hands throughout. A brilliant doctor.

Dr Malley is a consultant colleague both in the NHS and the private sector. In rheumatology he offers expert evidence based, patient focused care to his patients for both common and rarer rheumatological disease. In acute and general medicine he is proficient in the assessment and management of acutely unwell and undifferentiated patients. He offers both excellent medical care as well as close liaison with patient’s families / next of kin. I would recommend him to any patient looking for an expert rheumatologist or general physician.
