First class. Clear, professional, encouraging.

Mr. Patel accepted my case after a leg injury in October 2023 which required an ORIF surgery. The thorough care and follow ups were exceptional. His expertise and knowledge made me always feel positive and confident about the outcome throughout the whole recovery journey.

I found Dr Patel friendly, full information with a clear direct instructions/plan to my knee issue. He made it sound all very logical, straight forward & uncomplicated. His predicted time line for my operation was almost exact. Dr Patel visited me pre and post surgery and gain installed confidence in me that he was the right doctor for me. My surgery although very painful went as good as could have, I am very happy with how it all went and continues go 6 weeks after surgery. Amazing in fact. I feel I made (by chance) the best decision I could have by choosing firstly Shirley Oaks hospital and then having Dr Patel perform the surgery I needed.

Jig Patel is not only an excellent surgeon, his explanations of the procedures are very clear and he listens to ensure the most appropriate treatment is provided. I have seen him a number of times over the last year and am extremely happy with the outcomes.

Mr Jignesh Patel gave me great confidence during the run up and after the procedure. His team works well and is always contactable. I've no hesitation in approaching Jig again when and if the other hip needs attention.

He put me at ease on our first meeting to our last and I am eternally grateful to him for giving me a complete hip replacement which went extremely well.I can now walk pain free thanks to his professionalism and would highly recommend him.

Mr Patel was very informative about what the operation entailed and he gave me the confidence to go through with the operation as I was rather hesitant. He gave me excellent advice post surgery and said he would be willing to see me if there were any complications.

I had a problem with my hip, which turned out to be benign tumours. Mr Patel carried out a hip replacement and all turned out to be good. I found him very professional and cares for his patients. I was very lucky to have Mr Patel looking after me. Thank you.
