Overall, I was very impressed with the whole staff, everybody was very professional, friendly and available. Sadly, upon arriving at The Princess Grace Hospital, I had to wait a whole hour (!!!!) before being shown to my room. As a consequence of this delay, my whole procedure was put back by a couple of hours, and I was made to just wait unknowing when it would actually start (the staff at the ward didn't know either....). My consultant, too, was quite disappointed with the wait, and as he couldn't just keep on waiting until my room was available, he had to start procedures on other patients, hence my procedure was put back.

The hospital has always been a friendly place to visit and not at all nerve racking. The team all seem to know what they are doing and are experienced enough to calm any nerves or deal with any issues.

The Princess Grace Hospital Is always friendly and helpful from reception to your required department. I am not sure that the office procedures are quite so efficient as they used to be, for sometime (before COVID) they seemed more regular in sending out letters to inform you that a check-up was due. I have ended up phoning to see if I should make an appointment. Not a big issue but I feel that some people could end up missing essential appointments or maybe put things off if they don't have that little push. If I do phone or email then the response time is good. Although I am not sure why, I think maybe the overall feeling is a little colder or less cohesive.

Excellent West End private hospital but confusion over my operation time meant I arrived at the stated time but my operation was 2 hours' late. An administrative error by the hospital team that impacted both my consultant and I. Separately, there was also an administrative error over arrangements for a pre-op Covid test by the hospital in the preceding week, which meant I almost needed to reschedule the operation. Apart from that, this is an excellent facility and the staff were exceptional.
