I recently underwent surgery for an island flap reconstruction around a lesion site on my lower left leg, as well as a sentinel lymph node biopsy in my left groin. I am pleased to share my experience and provide a review of the procedure. My experience with the island flap reconstruction and sentinel lymph node biopsy was positive, and I am grateful for the expertise of Mr Damir Kosutic and the surgical team, my recovery is going very well. Mr Kosutic is a detailed surgeon and explains everything in an easy to digest manner, putting you at ease straight away. I am happy with my overall experience.

My experience with Mr Khatib has been fantastic. I immediately felt at ease with him and he was so caring and kind throughout the whole process. I was able to ask all the questions I needed to and he answered them thoroughly. I felt safe and confident in going forward with the breast reduction, after more than 30 years of putting it off. The surgery went extremely well and so quickly! I was home the same afternoon which meant I was able to rest and recover properly in my own surroundings which I feel has helped so much for a smooth recovery. If there’s anything I’ve ever wanted to ask, I have been able to call or email without feeling any hesitation to do so and have always been reassured that I can contact him at any time. Picking your surgeon can be so difficult. I can not stress about the importance on the way your surgeon makes you feel when you first interact and share your vision and expectations. You just instantly know! When I first met Dr Sadri I just knew! His professionalism, knowledge and realistic expectations made it so easy. He’s so thorough, kind and reassuring, yet didn’t over promise but most certainly over delivered! My bruising lasted for about 5 days post op. I look and feel fantastic. So thank you Dr Sadri.
