My eyelids had become very droopy, pushing down on my lashes. I just wanted a very subtle lift, nothing drastic. I've always had a fold and wanted that to remain, just not the droop. I was very repetitive and clear. The AI modeling that was done at consultation turned out to be filters, there was no ability to then tailor to the person, and I don't look like that anyway so perhaps I'm missing the point. I'm now almost 7 weeks out and my deepest fear has come true. There is almost no fold left to speak of, the scars are so high that they're very visible. My lids are now extremely prominent with minimal skin folding over. I can fully close my eyes, so functionally everything works at least. But aesthetically this was my worst-case outcome and the reason I waited so long to have the surgery in the first place. I've since met with a top eyelid reconstruction surgeon in the US (granted, at 4 weeks and he did say at that point there was still swelling). But even then, he said my scars were "crazy high", and looking at 'before' photos, that the amount removed was "aggressive". I don't look like myself, and in several months will need to undergo expensive reconstruction surgery. I have refused to engage with this surgeon anymore though he keeps asking me to come in, as he repeatedly tells me he didn't take off much (I can look in the mirror and see every day that's not true), and I see no point as I do not trust him. The scars aren't 'hidden in the crease', they're way above them and very visible even with the tons of concealer and fake glasses I now wear. The entire shape of my eyes has now changed, it isn't a subtle removal. I think it's clear that I'm extremely upset with this entire experience.

Miss Khanam has always been most helpful at every visit, explained everything to be done very clearly. Even though my eyes weren’t “playing ball” she has patiently helped me get things sorted out. I can’t recommend Miss Khanam highly enough!

From the moment one discovers Jonathan (mine was from online research where many routes triangulated to him) I believe one feels in safe and superbly reassuring hands!. I felt Jonathan's interest in my concern was genuine, listening with concern and empathy whilst applying his clearly vast plastic surgery experience to understand the treatment protocols that would work best for me. The result of our initial consultation discussions meant I came away with a real anatomical understanding of the root causes of my concern along with a full explanation of the prescribed procedure and how/why it would work. This left me feeling there was a way forward and I was in the hands of someone who spent a lifetime perfecting his craft and I could relax in that knowledge. The post consultation follow up with reading materials and access to both Jonathan and his team put me at ease in readiness for my surgery with all the responses to my questions clearly thought through and patiently explained. I could also then clearly plan my work/personal diary around the treatment and recovery plan. This proved to be spot in hindsight! I have to admit that having had general anaesthesia before I was actually more confident in using this protocol for any surgery but when Jonathan explained why his clinic uses twilight anaesthesia for my treatment type (where you are at least aware of your surrounding vs being fully 'knocked out') I was happy to explore further and see if i could get ultimately confident with this approach as it of course feels different. Jonathan and his team encouraged me to read other's reviews and I chatted to a patient for their direct review. I was also reassured by the fact that Jonathan and his anaesthetist have conducted hundreds of operations using twilight and I thought to myself, had there ever been issues with this approach to an elective surgery he would indeed never use it! I am happy to inform that twilight anaesthesia really is as good as general anaesthetic - I think for this type of procedure it is perhaps better. The only notion of pain is the initial pin prick in the hand at 1/10 (which occurs for any type of surgery) and then I found myself in a completely blissed-out state not really conscious of what was going on. In addition, of course there is local nerve block anaesthesia applied all around the treatment areas so there is no sensation whatsoever of pain coupled with my mind being completely 'floating' and relaxed. The true advantage of twilight became even more apparent after the procedure as I came to very quickly, fully lucid and able to eat food within 20 minutes! Unlike general anaesthetic, i had no horrid sore throat and sick/nausea feeling for several hours after. Within an hour or so I was ready to be discharged and my head was clear for the recovery process. It was also explained by Jonathan that using twilight would aid recovery as it is less taxing on the system and allows for more of the body's resources to be channelled to the healing process. I am now four weeks into recovery and can go about my life fully (and have been able to for some days!). It has been reassuring that the team are proactive in setting up periodic consults with Jonathan to review progress at key landmark points and again I had the feeling of being in caring and highly professional hands by someone who wants the best outcomes technically and emotionally for his patients. Of course there is some residual redness and swelling but this again was explained, is expected and I know will fully subside in the coming weeks. I look forward to seeing the final results and have no doubt based on what I can see so far they will be fully natural, enhancing and refreshing me in the most natural way with any evidence of work inconspicuous!

I am very happy with my surgery and so glad I found Dr Orfaniotis. In the past I have had mini lifts and a breast lift and lipo but my lovely surgeon in Belgium retired and I was left looking for an alternative. I researched various doctors online and came across Dr Orfaniotis. I had a deep plane face, neck, and lip lift. I am now just shy of three months post op and still improving. I don’t have many “technical” photos so will just share my real life photos and experience here for anyone considering this! The first photo is prior to the op and you can see my lovely double chin. In photos you would be amazed how well I could hide this and I am now happy to say that I have given away all my roll necks. I must admit it was not until after the op that I realised how much I must have been subconsciously hiding it! The second profile pic is about a week after the op. You can see the improved profile and also some tape under my chin which covered the incision site. The third photo (close up of face) is also about a week after the op just so you can see the lip lift scar. This is improving all the time and frankly is barely noticeable anyway. The photo in the pink top is about 6 weeks post – no double chin. The photo with the lights and blue scribbles was taken a couple of weeks ago – I don’t think I ever had a jawline like that. LOL! And finally the last photo is me with my dog a couple of days ago – it shows a front view so you can see that there is no trace of surgery and no weirdness in terms of pulling/tightness etc. I have been well during recovery so no issues and nothing unexpected. Dr Orfaniotis is great, his surgical aftercare from Dr Asadi is wonderful, and Lian from his office is very friendly and efficient. I have been so impressed both with his skills and the entire process. So much so that I have booked a breast reduction and lipo procedure. He is a very good doctor who is extremely intelligent and I am just so glad I found him as I had such a panicked moment when my previous surgeon retired. All in all, very very good! I recommend! And now that I found him he’s stuck with me for life! Poor man!

I saw Mr. Iqbal a few months ago as he operated and removed three osteomas on my forehead which I've had for years. They were always a cause of great embarrassment but the operation was a big success and the scars can't even be seen. This operation has given me so much more confidence and I've been able to change my hairdresser of 40+ years as I was always too embarrassed before. I can't recommend Mr. Iqbal enough for his knowledge, skill and professionalism. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anybody requiring plastic surgery.

I had fantastic results with Mr. Cavale. I knew his work would be excellent as I am a nurse who had seen some of his previous cases. I had my first consultation with him a year prior to actually having surgery. He applied no pressure or sale pitches to pressure me in to surgery with him (having gone to other plastic surgeons for consultations I can say this is not the norm). My results speak volumes. I decided to have the surgery after having two children and finding it hard to shift the excess skin and stubborn fat. However, Mr Cavale repaired the abdominal wall which has stopped my belly always looking bloated and round too. I went to his hospital in Battersea and on every visit his staff have been so kind and friendly yet not in a sales way but in a genuine caring nature.

He is a really nice nan with a lovely bedside manner. Wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.
