Dr. Anwar's academic journey began at King’s College London, where he obtained his Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2011. His pursuit of knowledge and surgical expertise led him to further achievements, including Membership Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2013 and a Diploma in Dental Sedation (DipDSed) from King’s College London in 2014.

However, it was his specialisation in Periodontology that truly set Dr. Anwar on a remarkable trajectory. His time as a specialty registrar in the department of Periodontics and Implant Surgery at Guy’s Hospital led to him achieving a Masters Degree in Periodontology at King’s College London. Further demonstrating his commitment to excellence, he successfully obtained specialist membership with the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh after a rigorous examination process.

Dr. Anwar's extensive expertise extends beyond academia. He has honed his skills through hands-on experience, working as a Senior House Officer in oral surgery and oral medicine. He also served as an in-house dentist at the University of Cambridge.

His specialisation in Periodontology and Implant surgery has positioned him as a sought-after professional, working as a visiting specialist at various private dental practices in and around London. Dr. Anwar's proficiency includes non-surgical periodontal treatment, dental implant placement, and a range of periodontal surgeries.

His contributions to dentistry extend to education and volunteering. He sits on the interview panel for the dental undergraduate program at King’s College London and has engaged in voluntary roles including placements with the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia and an oral health promotion campaign for young school children.
