Mr. Richard Moore is a Clinical Academic and Consultant Oral Surgeon based in Leeds, UK.
Mr. Moore completed his Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery at the University of Birmingham in 2002. He became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005 and holds a Fellowship in Dental Surgery and with the Faculty of Dental Trainers with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
In his current post, Mr Moore provides a full range of oral surgery including conscious sedation. Treatments include dental implants, dental extractions including wisdom teeth using piezosurgery, pre-prosthetic surgery, bone grafting & guided bone regeneration, biopsy for intraoral pathology He has special interests in managing medically complex patients and wisdom teeth.
In addition to his clinical roles, Mr Moore has published numerous papers in impactful peer-reviewed journals and regularly speaks at international meetings in his field of expertise. He currently holds the position of Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery at the University of Leeds and is an Honorary Consultant Oral Surgeon as Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Dr. Richard Moore put me at ease before my wisdom tooth extraction procedure, answered all my questions and concerns and completed procedure very efficiently. I’ve had no complications and healing has been straightforward - better than I expected. Aftercare instructions were very thorough and I felt assured that if something did go wrong post surgery it would have been taken care of. Overall, I’ve had a really good experience and would confidently recommend him to anyone needing their wisdom teeth removed.

It was my first meeting with Richard and I get quite nervous but his reassurance really helped

I was operated by RICHARD J. MOORE, Oral Surgeon, in Restore32, York on 26 January 2023. The operation for the removal of a damaged tooth was quick, efficient and successful . I was previously warned that Bleeding could be occurred, and indeed it happened for some time due to the position of the tooth and the difficultly to exercise pressure on the spot (lower right jaw deep in the mouth). But finally everything was done successfully and I slept from 10:00 mp of 26 Jan, 2023 to 07:00 am next day! My sincere thanks to Dr. R J. MOORE. The Patient (aged 85)
