Having met Professor Sanjay in 2016 for a separate issue, his professionalism and kindness stayed with me. I requested a 2nd opinion from him and he continues to show the same level of care as before and remains professional. He is thorough and knowledgeable and I feel confident that he will help me get answers to ongoing issues I have been dealing with. Thank you:).

Professor Sanjay’s approach to my urgent case was remarkable. After the initial consultation that went very well, the necessary tests (including CT) were performed immediately and the surgery took place later in the same day. All explanations required were provided before and after the surgery. Sanjay even called my partner to let her know about the outcome of my surgery that took place late in the evening. I definitely recommend Professor Sanjay not only for the work quality of his services, bit also for his overall behavior when it comes with dealing with patients. His PA is really good also in assisting with any information needed.

Sanjay was phenomenal throughout the entire few months of my interactions and treatment. His enthusiasm never wavered, whether it was explaining my diagnosis using very effective analogies, reassuring me of the procedure options or just his general attitude to helping me. His attention to detail was great. He was so thorough and when I had a symptom not part of my diagnosis, he referred me to a brilliant colleague and asked how we got on, which was very appreciated.

Sanjay is a long-standing friend and colleague, someone I trained alongside and now work with in collaborative partnership at One Welbeck Digestive Surgery. He is a superb technical surgeon, has an outstandingly detailed grasp of surgical physiology and anatomy, and is a kind and empathetic person. I have successfully recommended him to patients of mine with upper gastrointestinal symptoms such as reflux disease or pathologies such as gallstones.
