Mr. Nikolas Tzerakis is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with over a decade of experience in spinal surgery, neurovascular surgery, oncology, and functional neurosurgery. He sees private patients at the Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital.

Mr. Tzerakis earned his primary medical qualification in Greece, where he also completed his training. Upon completion of his training, he came to the UK in 2004 and was appointed as a Specialist Registrar at Newcastle Upon Tyne. During this time, he gained comprehensive expertise and knowledge in neurosurgery and was later appointed Consultant. Since his appointment, Mr. Tzerakis has been actively involved in the medical education of trainee neurosurgeons.

In addition to his excellence in clinical practice, Mr. Tzerakis is also active in research; having published numerous articles himself as well as conducting clinical trials and undertaking peer-reviewing for the work of others publishing their research. He is also a passionate educator and mentors specialist trainees in neurosurgery at Newcastle General Hospital.
