I am 8 weeks post sub-hysterectomy, feeling amazing and almost back to my old self and I have Dr Faz Pakarian to thank for this. Mr Pakarian treated me for endometrial polyps, and ensured that I was kept fully informed throughout the process. He supported my decision to have the polyps removed with a local rather than general anaesthetic, and explained that we could stop at any time if I experienced any pain. I was very nervous having read some terrifying accounts of hysteroscopy online, but Mr Pakarian made sure that the entire process was absolutely painless. I was back home within a couple of hours, with no pain and only minimal bleeding, so this was definitely the right decision for me. I was treated with kindness and understanding throughout and, overall, it was a very positive experience. Thank you.

A very nice caring doctor

Mr Pakarian treated me with kindness, understanding and respect. I was given the information I required in my initial consultation very clearly and my options were explained to me in a way I could understand and I was advised to consider these in my own time - which I did. Following completion of 6 weeks recommended physiotherapy I made the decision to proceed with a vaginal hysterectomy at the age of 36. I felt supported and well informed through out the whole process and now being 10 weeks post-op can say without doubt this was the correct decision for me. I am now symptom free and feel able to live my life to the full once again. I cannot recommend Mr Pakarian's expertise enough, not only is he clearly an expert in his field he is also a very nice man which is so important when your situation can make you feel vulnerable.
