In addition, Dr Dhinsa has many fellowships and memberships including Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, British Orthopaedic Association, British Medical Association and British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He also has a keen interest in research and has presented at numerous national and international events and had many peer-reviewed publications. Further, he is involved in the teaching and training of undergraduates and supervising trainees as well as being on the faculty of numerous courses.

He was reassuring, made me feel totally relaxed and reassured about the surgery. His explanation both before and after surgery, was thorough and most eloquently explained, not at all rushed and he afforded me his time to ask questions and gave me his undivided attention answering my questions. A 5" surgeon 😊. Thank you 🙏

He was very informative and respectful and addressed all my concerns which made me feel at ease.

Very polite and friendly. I wasn't completely certain about how long I would be off work for. I was told we wouldn't know until my foot was opened up to see what was wrong. Mr Dhinsa tried to talk to me about the surgery when I was in recovery, but I'm not sure that was the best place as I wasn't with it! I'd have preferred it if he could have come and seen me and my husband afterwards so I could understand what had happened. I also had questions about me recovery and would have liked that opportunity to ask him.
I apologise that you were not given enough time to ask questions, I try to do this before the operation. I come round the ward after the whole list has finished but sometimes that is very late and patients have already been discharged. I am always available to be contacted to discuss any questions via my contact details. I hope your recovery goes well and I shall see you for follow up soon.
