Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Miss Shree Datta has more than 20 years of experience in the field and as well as her NHS trust, is based at The Lister Hospital, The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, and 25 Harley Street. Miss Datta is involved in research and has received the Helen Lawson award for her work on ovarian cancer and the Arthur Macey scholarship for her research into saphenous vein grafting. Furthermore, she has co-authored three medical textbooks and contributes regularly to Mother and Baby magazine. She is also a co-author of Time for Training for the Secretary of State (2009).
Miss Datta has been the lead investigator for a study on Fibroids and Embolisation or Myomectomy to Measure the Effect on quality of life among women, or "FEMME". She is renowned in her field and has been involved in teaching courses internationally. She is also a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Miss Shree Datta was really reassuring, knowledgeable and took me seriously which made me feel at ease and confident.

I am a student midwife sitting in the clinic as part of my clinical placement. Dr Shree wa wonderful with her patients, she gave them the proper care and information they needed. She went above and beyond making sure they had the right information and even going to reception to book appointments for patients who had issues with their appointments. Keep up the great job!
