Mary's educational journey includes graduating with first-class Honours in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Naturopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in 1998. She then pursued an MSc in Nutritional Therapy and attained the British Medical Acupuncture qualification in dry needling.
Having excelled in her studies, Mary was invited to return as a lecturer at BCOM immediately after graduation, a role she embraced from 1998 to 2000. She later held the position of Clinical Education Coordinator at Oxford Brookes University from 2002 to 2014. Her responsibilities included teaching Nutrition, Osteopathic Technique, and supervising final year students in the clinic.
In her clinical practice, Mary spent fifteen years at the Lechlade Medical Centre in Gloucestershire. In 2003, she co-founded the highly regarded Farringdon Clinic in Oxfordshire, where she diligently worked until 2019, leaving an indelible mark on the field of Osteopathy.

Mary O'Leary has been integral to rehabilitating a recurring back and pelvic injury made worse postpartum. As a practitioner with a wealth of experience, Mary has approached my injury holistically and explained in simple terms what is happening in my body, helping to deepen my understanding and treatment plan of the issue. Her skills are made more powerful and effective through her active listening, empathy, and fantastic sense of humour during sessions, so that I have complete trust in her treatment and leave sessions feeling better in both body and mind. I could not recommend Mary highly enough and only wish I had been under her care sooner.

Over the years, I have seen Mary O’Leary for back and neck pain, as well as ankle problems and muscle tightness. My body has always responded really well to Mary’s treatment, whether that be deep tissue work, manipulation or dry needling. She is a fantastic osteopath who always goes above and beyond for her patients. I am always impressed by Mary’s diagnostic intuition and her generous spirit. Would highly recommend!

I have been seeing Mary for my backpain throughout my pregnancy and now postnatal. She has been my saviour. I joke with her that she has magical hands but I really do mean it. I have tried other Osteopaths but none make me feel like a new woman like Mary does. Thank you so much Mary!!!
