Explanation

Our decision to have a planned section was not taken lightly but all the fear and worry was eliviated when we had a consultation with Kenga. She presented all the facts and figures and was both compassionate and professional. Kenga made me feel safe and even when we had our date moved forward, I always knew we were in the best hands. I would highly recommend Kenga to anyone at King's or otherwise. She made our experience a wonderful one and I'm forever grateful

Dr Sivarajah was my consultant in charge of my care when I was pregnant with my first baby. She took great care of me and my baby. I found that she was always running on time with her clinics, I was never rushed and she thought of everything. I always had the medications I needed and she involved other specialist teams in a timely manner. I felt well cared for and although I was technically a high risk pregnancy, I didn't feel that I was in hospital any more than needed and she took great care of me during my stay on the ward after having my baby and after being discharged from hospital.

I was extremely anxious during my pregnancy and birth, and Kenga’s calm and efficient manner was exactly what I needed during that time. Her communication is clear and concise which helped our appointments and my caesarean to be as smooth as possible. I was very emotional for a lot of our interactions and Kenga’s logical, straight-talking approach was helpful in getting me to calm down and see more clearly. Should took charge of situations with what could be described as a ‘no nonsense’ approach which worked very well for me. I would highly recommend Kenga as an obstetrician and if I have another baby I would definitely want her to be my obstetrician again. Thank you Kenga :)

Kenya was an incredibly important part of my pregnancy journey. She is one of the most kindest, patient, clear people I have ever dealt with in my life. I would have never ever got through my pregnancy with out her. She never used words that I didn’t understand, her level of care was above and beyond all standards, and she made me and my husband stay calm and focused on what we needed to do. Kenga, you are an absolutely amazing person and there is no words I can express to how grateful me and my husband are for you being put on my case. You kept me alive, focused, and hopeful at all times. Thank you so much for everything. You incredible lady!!!

I couldn’t recommend Kenga more highly. She was extremely empathetic, calm, informative and professional - everything I wanted and needed in the lead up to, and during my c-section. Kenga did everything she could to make my experience as comfortable and smooth as possible and I am eternally grateful given how nervous I was.

Explanation

Kenga has cared for me during two pregnancies and delivered both babies via c-section. I had an excellent experience both times. I was under her care for my second and third pregnancies following a previous very traumatic first birth. Kenga was always understanding of the additional emotional support and reassurance that I needed as well as taking great care with my physical symptoms. She also stayed in close contact with my midwife between my consultant appointments and was very responsive over email if I had any questions. Both c- section procedures went smoothly, and I have healed well both times with no infections or other complications. I would highly recommend Kenga’s care to other women.

Dr Kenga made me feel so at ease having met her initially after a loss and was there throughout the journey on my next pregnancy She was very professional, transparent and compassionate especially to my anxious needs at the best of times. She even made a point to be there for the birth even though it was not her scheduled day. I felt so confident that it would all be alright knowing she was there on the last leg of our journey. We are very grateful for everything she has done for our family.
