I saw Dr Gratwicke seeking a third opinion as I had received two differing diagnosis, one for Parkinsons disease and one for Essential Tremor. He was able to relax me and I found his professional skills and manner were enormously helpful. I now feel able to face the disease with knowledge and some confidence. Knowing that I can see him again is really comforting.

Dr Gratwicke has a very professional and pleasant manner - very thorough and detailed history taken and clear plan of investigations. Excellent clear explanation of results from investigations - Dr Gratwicke allowed plenty of time to answer all my questions - and outlined all treatment options available. His administration secretary was also excellent - and very good and quick responses to any queries I had.

Dr Gratwicke had a great and reassuring bed side manner, on our consultation he watched me walking and looked at my reactions and dexterity. Since our last meeting in October 23, when he first saw me and he diagnosed me with MSA, Taking his prescribed medication and taking his advice on exercise from then to now, I’ve improved 10 fold , where I like to think I’m back , if I can say back to normal. With, his calming manner and reassurance, he answered all our questions and not only made me feel at ease but also my wife and daughter. It was nice to see his reaction on how much I’ve improved which was great which really it only can be down to him.

Found Dr Gratwicke very easy to talk to about a sensitive subject. It was a great relief particularly as he had an immediate grasp of the issues and fears. Would not hesitate to recommend him. This was just the first appointment and keen to undergo tests on his direction and listen to his recommendations and advice. The advice already given was practical and given succinctly. A very nice consultant.

I met with Dr Gratwicke for the first time on 22nd April 2024 and right from the offset, when he came out to greet me, I was filled with confidence. As well as being an expert in his field, he had a wonderful “bed side” manner, something that is sadly lacking in many others. He went through a series of tests with me, took time to explain everything and totally put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Dr Gratwicke.
