Dr Brian Clapp is a colleague of mine at Guys and St Thomas's hospital where he is the clinical lead for coronary intervention. He is a national expert in the field of coronary intervention and also in the field of structural intervention particularly along the lines of patent foramen ovale closure and left atrial appendage closure devices where he lectures nationally and internationally.
