After deciding to explore private maternity care, we did a thorough online research and found Daniel through UCLH’s Fitzrovia Suite. Since this was my first pregnancy, we wanted a consultant who would fully support our plans for a vaginal delivery with minimal interventions and whom we could trust 100% to provide the right advice. From our initial virtual meeting with Daniel, we felt completely confident in our choice. His supportive approach was evident from the start, as he listened carefully to our preferences and reassured us about the process. Given that it was a low-risk pregnancy, we agreed to begin consultations at week 36. Throughout the consultations, Daniel's support was unwavering. He offered valuable suggestions when needed but always respected our decisions, ensuring we were well-informed at every step. During the 24-hour labour, Daniel was available throughout the entire process. He thoroughly explained potential next steps and interventions, helping us make informed choices. Ultimately, our plans changed and Daniel's guidance was instrumental in making this decision. His considerate and supportive nature extended to the actual delivery, where he provided continuous encouragement and expert care. His excellent working relationship with the midwives at Fitzrovia, who also spoke highly of him, further reinforced our trust. Thanks to Dan's supportive approach and professionalism, I had a positive birth experience and felt confident and secure throughout the entire process.

Daniel looked after me throughout my pregnancy and elective c-section. Daniel is the absolute best consultant I could have wished for. He is calm, extremely knowledgeable, incredibly responsive and compassionate. He is a highly competent doctor with an approachable and compassionate manner. I had a minor issue which was not at all obvious and he treated it promptly and efficiently. Regarding the delivery itself, I had a smooth experience and the scar is barely visible (!). I could not recommend Dan enough and I was fortunate to have him look after me.

We saw Dr. Daniel Stott throughout my pregnancy and he delivered our daughter via elective c-section in April 2024. It is hard to imagine an obstetrician who provides a higher level of care and we are incredibly grateful for his professional, caring and evidence-based approach. He was quick to diagnose me with gestational diabetes and helped me manage my thyroid-related issues early on in the pregnancy. He was patient and quick to respond to our concerns, adopting an empathetic and proactive approach, while seeking advice from colleagues / his UCLH team for any issue that was outside his immediate area of expertise. I would not hesitate to approach him again should we decide to have another child.

It is rare to meet a doctor who is exceptional in every aspect. Dr Daniel Stott is that doctor and delivered our baby girl as part of a flawless journey that we can never thank him enough for. Offering advice and navigating unexpected medical challenges with our baby with calm and clear decision making at every turn. His communication throughout was kind and thoughtful. He is clearly a leader in his field. We cannot recommend him enough to anyone looking for exceptional antenatal care in London.

It was incredible, Dr stott really put me at ease at a time where I felt very anxious interacting with NHS and the medical sector in general. If all experiences could be similar to what I experienced with Dr Stott, I believe women especially Black women will feel heard and better cared for.

Dr Daniel Stott's care was exceptional. I found him incredibly responsive and I was well listened to throughout my antenatal care. Dr Stott gave comprehensive answers to questions in a reassuring and clear way. I never felt rushed and care was attentive and person centered. I had a cesarean and I felt incredibly well looked after and Dr Stott created a really calm environment for my son to be born. I am really grateful that I came across Dr Stott and used him for my antenatal care and birth. It was a really reassuring consistent aspect of my pregnancy.

Dan is such an outstanding obstetrician! We really appreciate his attention to details, professional advices, and the kind care he selflessly gave us. We are on the same page on almost everything, in particular the birth plan. Every communication is respectful, warm, and clear, even during the hardest hours in labour. Will definitely recommend Dan to anyone who's going through the pregnancy/labour journey.

When planning our C Section delivery, we chose to meet with Dan after reading so many other glowing reviews online and we weren't disappointed. We met two consultants and Dan was our clear preference. He has a no-nonsense approach, keeping things clear and informative while also maintaining a friendly bedside manner. We were totally at ease with Dan. Thankfully our whole pregnancy and delivery was without any issues, but I got the impression we could call Dan any time of the day or night and he would make himself available to answer questions or support in any way. The midwives at the Fitzrovia Suite UCH also spoke so highly of him during our stay there - you can tell he was well respected by the team. I'm not sure if Dan was responsible for choosing our anaesthetist for the delivery, but a big shout out also to John whose care and preparation made the whole experience even more peaceful, calm and enjoyable. Overall, our delivery was super smooth and recovery was easy so a huge thank you! In the unlikely event we have another child we would most certainly be in touch with Dan again :)

Dan is an exceptional obstetrician. I very was keen to have a Vaginal Birth after Caesarean (VBAC) and he guided me through my pregnancy and delivery remarkably to achieve this. I had such a positive experience in my pregnancy thanks to his guidance and knowledge. He is very approachable and explains everything clearly to you. I cannot thank him enough. When we had a slight complication towards the end of my delivery, his proactive and calm manner was very reassuring. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I hope to be able to experience another pregnancy and delivery with him in the future.
