All our consultants and specialist staff are based in the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and/or have links with the UCL Institute of Neurology in Queen Square. The staff were super friendly, especially the receptionists and the nurses. There was construction going on every time we were visiting, which was a little noisy.

From being greeted at the reception to leaving after my consultation I found all staff very friendly, polite and helpful which helped put me at ease.

I introduced myself and stated my appt was at 3.30pm. Noone clarified or explained that it was listed as at 4.30pm. I queried at 4.15pm how much longer it would be and was told I was wrong, it was 4.30pm. The error was the secretaries, not the receptionist but it would have been sensible to tell me when I first arrived as it would have been clear on their screen. There were also half finished coffee cups everywhere and the toilets were grotty. Mr Kitchen, on the other hand, was great. Very thorough.
