Parking is horrendous but service excellent

A clean and efficient hospital with friendly, competent staff.

The care up until I was given food was fantastic, but after that I didn't see anyone and was left for ages, even though I pressed my call button. It took me submitting a complaint online before I saw anyone, which is very disappointing when you're paying for the surgery.

I cannot fault the care I received. There is a clear ‘one team’ ethic. Handover between nurses shifts was always explained in advance. The whole healthcare team was friendly, welcoming and efficient.

Everybody I have dealt with at Nuffield Health Derby Hospital has been extremely courteous, helpful, professional and friendly. On the day of my procedure the nurses were brilliant and I was able to relax totally knowing I was in the best possible hands. I am sure the care they gave me has been one of the main reasons why I have made a speedy, pain free and complete recovery.

The hospital was easy to find and navigate. The car park was very full but I did not have to wait long for a space to become free. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly. The waiting room was nice. I did not have to wait long for my appointment. Staff were efficient with supplying me with the correct paperwork and information I required, explaining everything clearly.
