Very calm, understanding and caring

After receiving an unexpected diagnosis for neuroendocrine cancer at age 32, I did research to help narrow down to which doctors in the UK were leading for treatment of this rare disease. Dr Srirajaskanthan was immediately impressive upon meeting and made me feel safe that I would receive the best care. He was compassionate and took the time to help my family and I understand the diagnosis and next steps. He fast-tracked consultations and scans, so my waiting period before treatment was as short as possible. He was diligent to assess all testing that came before meeting with him, and has helped me have a say in my own treatment journey so I have the highest possible quality of life. I have a long journey ahead with this cancer, but I am in safe hands. I cannot thank him (and his wonderful secretary) enough for being there for my family and I.

Dr Harris was very thorough and clear in his assessment of my likely condition, and this was followed up with some detailed tests that verified his original diagnosis- he also provided a clear and concise follow up. I Would highly recommend Dr Harris to any prospective patient.

John is fantastic, mostly on time to his appointments, present in the consultation, and good at explaining test results and findings along the way. I enjoyed working with John on my gastric health issue.

Dr Philipose seemed to have excellent knowledge of his field. He quickly got to the bottom of my medical issues and provided thorough and helpful explanations, answering all my questions. At our first consultation I found his manner a little cool, although I felt our interactions warmed up on subsequent meetings.

I didn’t have a lot of interaction with Dr Shah because she was performing a procedure on Me. She explained the procedure and performed it well. She was very thorough and professional.

Dr. Anderson is an excellent consultant. He both listens, explains and advises in equal measure.

Dr Rahman was really professional and thorough with a very reassuring bedside manner. He assessed my upper GI symptoms, ordered appropriate tests and has presented me with an analysis of the results and a treatment plan in a timely fashion. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommended him an an extremely experienced specialised Gastroenterologist.
