My experience with Mr Alexander was a good one. He was friendly and approachable while explaining the procedure and all that was involved with appointments and follow up meetings. I felt confident of his ability and in safe hands.

After a nightmare at Moorfields with my first cataract surgery, which took ages to rectify (and not by them), it was such a relief to have my second cataract surgery under Mr. Shalchi's go so smoothly and expertly. The Princess Margaret hospital is so much nicer and more efficient than Moorfields too.

He had a very good bedside manner and was easy to talk to , always remaining professional. I would highly recommend him.

Miss Khanam has always been most helpful at every visit, explained everything to be done very clearly. Even though my eyes weren’t “playing ball” she has patiently helped me get things sorted out. I can’t recommend Miss Khanam highly enough!

Doctor Hamid is clearly experienced, has a light hearted approach and smile on his face. Overall, I had apositive patient experience with him. A few improvements to note for the future based on my experience: - I had the impression, both in the 1st call and on the day of surgery, that he was in a hurry and was looking forward to cut it short with me. - The first appointment with him was scheduled as video call and I was expecting that, however it was run by telephone. This uncommunicated and unexplained change in the moment made me uncomfortable because as a patient I'd like to build trust and easen up with the surgeon.
