Dr Karamanakos was excellent, from initial consultation all the way through to post surgery follow up. He explained everything really clearly and in simple terms, clearly explained all of the risks and benefits of the surgery and was also very personable.

When I met Mr Karamanakos he was friendly, welcoming and put me at ease. I was very impressed by his knowledge and he explained in great detail the procedure I was going to have as he has great experience in this field. One thing I liked is that he has a great sense of humour and this helped ease any anxieties I had. On the day of my operation, he was in top form and though my operation proved to be more of a challenge than he first thought he dealt with any issues he came across, explained in detail afterwards what happened and I made a speedy recovery which I think is due to his professionalism and care. He saw me recently due to a follow up and was pleased with my recovery. I would recommend Mr K 100%, he is very approachable, friendly, knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner, all of which gave me every confidence with my surgery.

He explained all aspects of my condition and the proposed treatment, including recovery schedule - this made me very comfortable in proceeding with the treatment and surgery for my condition. His post operative care and attention has been excellent and I would wholly recommend him.
