Sacheen Kumar is always very caring and very reassauring with clear explanations. He always kept me up to date and communication face to face, by video and by phone was both timely and appropriate. A phone call often in the evening just to check on me was particularly appreciated. He explains technical medical procedures in clear language.My operation was very successful and I am as well as I am thanks to his skill as a surgeon.

Dr Kumar was very kind in his manner, and explained at great length what he had found, and what he was going to do to alleviate my condition. Dr Kumar was very professional and caring to me. The whole experience of attending Clinic for appointments, and the Hospital for my operation was made as pleasant as possible by Dr Kumar. Mr Kumar was my consultant for a hernia and provided fantastic care throughout my case. He listened to my symptoms and concerns, arranged for a series of scans and patiently answered all my questions. He talked me through the detailed results of the scans and my options for surgery (open vs keyhole). He referred me to his colleague David Monk so that I could understand the keyhole option. Mr Kumar was also available to answer non-urgent queries between consultations via Cleveland's MyChart facility which was highly appreciated. In the end I decided to go with the keyhole surgery performed by Mr Monk, but I was very pleased with all the care I recieved from Mr Kumar. He treated me with dignity, warmth and respect throughout the process, and put me at ease listening to my concerns and providing clear explanations.
