I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Ayliffe at St Anthony’s where he explained everything in great detail of what he was going to do. Step by step, he was very gentle and encouraging during the procedure itself which put me at ease. When I saw Mr Ayliffe for my after-care check… I explained to him how deeply impressed I was that I didn’t even bruise at all and that I could see within 2 days.

The Professor has an air of confidence which was a significant factor in making my experience less stressful. He explained the options available to me and made recommendations which I accepted and which have proven to be very successful. Although uncomfortable, the operation was completely pain free and I was made to feel relaxed throughout.
