Professor Hindley carried out my Rezum operation 3 years ago. When recently my GP diagnosed my prostate as being “the size of a tennis ball” and should be referred for further investigation, I decided that it would be best to arrange to see Professor Hindley rather than wait years to see a Welsh NHS consultant. Within 3 weeks I saw Professor Hindley and he was able to examine me with his camera app and was able to assure me that my prostate was “nowhere near the size of a tennis ball and more the size of a ping pong ball”. Whilst I was reassured by this, Mr Hindley wanted to investigate further to eliminate any other causes of my symptoms and a further more precise camera examination was arranged for a month’s time. This is a measure of the professionalism of the man. I have every confidence in the care that Professor Hindley gives to his patients

Very down to earth and put me at my ease. He took time and trouble to answer my questions, calling up very helpful diagrams on the computer to illustrate his explanations.

Professor Hindley had been very informative during my first appointment some weeks before the procedure when I asked about the advantages & disadvantages of Greenlight Laser PVP vs HOLEP. The care and procedure of his team in carrying out my Greenlight Laser PVP has been excellent and I am more that pleased about the outcome and short recovery period. I was very happy with his additional reassurance about complete recovery during the telephone appointment on 12/3/22.
