“Prof. Howard Branley is in both my husband’s and my view, ‘PLATINUM’ standard. He is a remarkable Physician with the perfect bedside manner as he is always most compassionate and empathetic towards me. He put me at ease straight away with his calm, reassuring, smiling, persona. I was asked to see a Respiratory Consultant upon Discharge from the Princess Grace Hospital after being hospitalised on 3 November 2022 for Pneumonia and I personally chose to see Prof. Branley for a review and optimisation on 22 November 2022 because I had total confidence in his good, healing hands, from my previous experience of having seen him approx. 10 years or so ago when he diagnosed me with Asthma, & prescribed me with inhalers, thus enhancing my quality of life. He is sending me for further diagnostics tests to ensure I am given the right treatment by him if necessary and I know I will get better soon under his Expertise. I owe him a debt of gratitude. I cannot recommend Prof. Branley highly enough. After the consultation with him on the 22nd November, I breathed a deep sigh of relief because I know for a certainty that my lung problem will soon be resolved to my entire satisfaction. Thanking you profusely Prof. Branley for your kindness, understanding and compassion. “

Professor Branley made me feel so comfortable and did not intimidate me or make me feel I was wasting his time. He took time to go through everything and explain what would happen. He is one of the best doctors I have seen and would recommend him. I have already told friends and family how thorough he was.

Prof Branley was excellent at explaining all aspects of the potential issues I have and advising clearly on the possible benefits of having lung functions tests v the actual need for them. He took time and at no point did I feel rushed or under pressure. He had a very pleasant manner which helped put me at ease and really helped ensure I understood all aspects of what he was explaining to me. I wouldn't hesitate to visit Prof Branley again should the need arise.

As expected it was very informal with a lot of trust on my side having known Prof Bramley for very many years. It was my choice to go back to him because of his past knowledge of my history rather than to go to the Nhs. I had full confidence in his expertise and decision making. The consultation was, I'd been told by Prof Bramley's secretaty, to be a 45 minute slot as a 'first consultation' but was over in twenty minutes. So some of my questions only occured to me after I had left.

Professor Branley was outstanding in all these 3 areas. He was extremely polite, made me feel at ease, listened to all my queries and anxieties and very clearly explained my condition and treatment. I certainly have complete confidence in Professor Branley's ability to provide care, would recommend him to my family and friends and would be extremely happy to see him again, if it were necessary.
