Prof Khalil exceeded my expectation as a Healthcare Professional. Not only was she knowledgeable and able to answer all queries and worries I had, but she was approachable and genuine. If it wasn’t for her my twins would not be here. Forever grateful. Thank you Prof Khalil.

My experience with Professor Asma Khalil was nothing but exceptional from the moment we met her. Asma was and is extremely professional and always empathised with what we as a family were going through. We seen Asma on a weekly basis from 14 weeks pregnancy to 29 weeks. I underwent 2 surgeries performed by Asma to save my twin pregnancy due to Ttts. With absolutely everything stacked against the pregnancy we lived in turmoil. At 29 weeks and 4 days I gave birth via emergency C section to a beautiful baby boy. We sadly lost our other beautiful baby boy but he will always be remembered. Thanks to Asma’s dedication and knowledge we came home with one little miracle that once seemed impossible and for that me and my family will always be truly grateful to such an amazing Lady.

Professor Asma will always hold a place in our hearts! Thought out the toughest time in our lives she was the angel that we needed. On our journey we seemed to come across something abnormal with all our scans at every appointment, leaving us to have huge anxiety whenever we left St George’s hospital that something else would happen between now and then. Professor Asma gave us her number to contact her if we had a concerns. This halved our trauma thought out our journey as we could always sleep better knowing Asma knowledge and help was never too far away. Having her guidance also fast tracked us though to St George’s when an issue occurred, we will also be grateful for this. I have never meet such a kind and caring person, I will always be grateful to her for this.

Professor Khalil is honestly out of this world. I couldn’t have asked for a better clinician to be by my side. I was so afraid and anxious, she made the whole experience tolerable. She was constantly available, compassionate and empathetic. She explained everything and listened no matter how “silly” I thought my question or worry was. Even after birth she continually checked in and now to this day I get the odd message to check on my health and the baby. When I have my next baby I will not even hesitate to get in touch with her again to support me. I have since referred family members to Professor Khalil also, there really is no one better.

Professor Asma Khalil is highly knowledgeable, thorough, attentive and detail-oriented. Her bedside manner is superb; very reassuring and calming. My pregnancy was a complicated one and I honestly believe that if Professor Khalil had not been my obstetrician I may not have had the wonderful outcome which I did. She identified and addressed certain things early on and guided me through it with excellent personal attention and care. She was very approachable and responsive, too. I would highly recommend her.

I underwent laser ablation to treat twin to twin transfusion syndrome for my unborn twins and I am very grateful for the excellent treatment and care I received from Professor Asma Khalil. Everything was made clear and I was made to feel at ease from the start and throughout the whole process. The laser ablation was successful and we now have healthy twin girls.
