Patient seen for:
I really valued Sam's approach. She made me realise that therapy is goal orientated with a view to getting better, rather than a general chit chat about philosophical questions.

I found Sam very personable and her approach very useful at a difficult time. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to others.
Read moreI saw Sam over many sessions and the fact that I kept coming back should be a testament to the quality of her service. She was always able to explain mechanisms of my thinking and behaviour and underpin them by scientific studies. I would recommend her.
Read moreSam has been very professional and really helpful during the several months I've been working with her. She's highly professional. English is not my mother tongue but she was extremely helpful and understanding. I highly recommend her.
Read moreSam was the first therapist I ever felt comfortable with. She was always there for me, kind, and comforting. Helped see things in my life in a different perspectives, but also helped me learn how to understand myself better.
Read moreSam was one of the best therapists I've met and cannot recommend her enough! I've seen Sam for a few months two years and ago and went back to see her last year for a few months again. We connected really well and from the outset she was brutally honest in a very constructive and safe way that helped enlighten me and allowed me to work through various issues quicker than I thought. She always knew how much to let me talk, when to stop me and pose questions or alternatives that were very thought provoking. When I wanted to understand the science/theory behind certain tendencies, patterns or behaviours she was excellent at explaining them in a way that sticks with you. When I wanted to dig deeper into the theory/science she recommended books and reading material and when I was ready in my own process to delve deeper into my issues she gave me "homework" to think/write/reflect upon which helped me grow so much stronger, more confident and emotionally wiser. What I loved about seeing Sam is that every time I left our sessions I felt a little bit lighter and when I struggled with certain areas/was not able to access certain memories that caused me pain, she recommended a different type of therapy which I'm still going through. If it wasn't for Sam I would have not made the progress or growth and I would not be at a place where I feel a baseline happiness, awareness and calmness. Sam was always very compassionate, thought provoking, an excellent therapist and always knew how much to push me and when to stop. I am very grateful for all that I have learned and gained from her.

Sam is very easy to talk to and her counsel has been invaluable when it has come to working through issues at a difficult time in my life.
Read moreI have been seeing Sam intermittently for about 6 years now (having most recently started feeling symptoms of anxiety and depression again about 18 months ago). Sam is an absolute star. She is caring but also firm about the changes I need to make, and is particularly good at offering tools with which to tackle problems (both practical ones, varying from meditation to reducing alcohol consumption, and social coping strategies - for instance, small recommendations for tackling problematic people in my life). I cannot recommend her highly enough.
