I found Mrs Khandwala a little abrupt during our first meeting but realised during our meeting that she was making sure I was ready for this surgery. Thereafter she was extremely helpful and caring.

Mrs Khandwala is a superb all-round medical professional - considerate, kind and supportive, but also a no-nonsense approach that explained precisely what would be involved in a cataract operation and what the possible outcomes might be. She gave clear and realistic information that made it easy to decide whether to have the operations or not. Throughout the intervention itself, and with obvious respect for the theatre team, she was calm and reassuring. Follow-up reviews were efficient and informative. Can't be more highly recommended.

Ms. Khandwala is an excellent surgeon, providing an incredibly high standard in all area's of her work. She is very polite, caring and very reassuring. I had a cataract in my only working eye, my vision is now near perfect and I no longer need glasses for distance vision. Prior to the operation, I struggled to read the registration number of the car in front of me and playing my beloved golf was almost impossible. Ms. Khandwala has changed my life for the better, she is a star, I am so pleased I chose her to complete my surgery.

When I first met Ms Mona Khandwala I felt a deep trust that she was the right surgeon for me. She has proved to always be super efficient, she answered my questions before I could ask them and is reassuring in a very honest way. She is kind but also straightforward and has never glossed over the severity of my operation.

I was very worry about have my cataracts repaired but after the first meeting with Ms Khandwala all my fears were reduced due to excellent explanation of the proceedure and answering my quations as to what could go wrong and how would any problems be overcome. My first operation was still initally stressfull as I had never had an eye operation before but as everything was done so calmly finnally i relaxed and the operation was completed and successful. My second operation was much easier for me as I know what to expect but still any problems I had were quickly resolved by Ms Khandwala and her team. At the signing off interview some 4 weeks after the second operation I was reminded to keep the eye drops going until the time had expired and then not to visit the opticieans for any modification to prescription for glasses until 6 weeks after the operation date. I am very pleased with how well I can see distance, medium distance, and relatively close and of course given permission to drive again. I now see life in beautifull colour and no sepia tinge.
