“Excellent care from a warm hearted and patient focussed person, who is obviously passionate about the medical subject. Everything is explained in detail and such that the medical jargon and technicality is understood by the layman. He gives confidence in his skill and I have no reservations about recommending him to all my friends and family if they ever need such medical needs.“

Mr Ramkissoon is the nicest most thorough consultant I have ever met with. He took the time to explain everything about my eye condition and the many different options available to me and offered reassurance on my decision to have surgery. I have been referred to another consultant for the surgery in Manchester because at the moment this cannot be carried out privately in Sheffield but I would be more than happy to be referred back to Mr Ramkissoon if any follow ups are required.

I would have preferred more face to face advice rather than to read the literature and “ have you any questions “ I felt I made the decision about lens type without an expert’s advise about the alternatives. I am pleased with the outcome, but might have been more pleased with more advise about alternatives.
