From the first moment I met Mr Bartlett I knew I had found the surgeon to do my Total hip replacement surgery. He explained everything very clearly and thoroughly. This is the second occasion l have been under the care of Mr Barclett for knee replacement to both joints. The pre op and post operative stages were clearly explained and thoughtfully carried out. Mr William Bartlett and his team are extremely nice, efficient and caring. They are patient and understanding and give you the consultation time you need. They also take the time to answer your phone calls (or call you back) to give you the answers to any further queries you might have. This support and their expertise and their track record fill you with confidence. I feel good about the operation that I am about to have, or at least as good as one can ever feel about having surgery! At 30 Devonshire Street I had MRI scans - Simon and Barbie (not sure of spelling), Shirin (nurse, pre-op assessment), Oliver (pre-op physiotherapy chat. They were all very comforting, professional and kind as was the CT staff member (Mark, I think, but by all means check my details for who carried out the procedure on me) at 41 Welbeck Street. I would highly recommend them all. We had very nice conversations and they kept everything light but professional which helped reduce any potential stress.

I'm a man in my late 70's. I had a right hip replacement followed some three years later with a left hip replacement. Both operations were undertaken by William Bartlett. I must say William is an extremely pleasant gentleman with a great "bedside manner" and he explains everything one needs to know in great detail. I recovered very well from both operations and I'm now walking well again with no pain. William is obviously an excellent surgeon with many years experience in this particular field. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone contemplating this type of surgery.

William, Explained everything very clearly and was open and responsive to my questions of concerns. He was caring and considerate before and after the hip replacement operation and helped guide me on how quickly to get extend my rehab. Most importantly, the outcome was absolutely brilliant-way better than i could have expected. Was walking 5 miles after 10 weeks and then playing golf/cycling after 5 months. Wound has repaired really well with no infection or other issues. Top surgeon!

I found Mr Bartlett easy to talk to. He spent time explaining and answering questions. He was honest enough to say that he had been unable to use the robot for my surgery because of a technical failure. I appreciated that. I wouldn’t have known otherwise and I have no reason to doubt the success of the surgery.
