Mr Jasani is a full-time spine surgeon based at Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital.
He specialises in all aspects of spine surgery including disc prolapses, sciatica and cervical spine surgery. He also performs complex spine surgery including spine deformity and manages children's spine problems. Additionally, he is happy to advise on the non-surgical management of spine disorders affecting all ages. His approach is to stay away from high-risk surgery and manage conditions with the least invasive and most proven methods possible.
Mr Jasani has been a consultant in spine surgery since 2003. As well as practising surgery, he is involved in running national courses training in spine surgery. He is also engaged in regional and national roles with the British Scoliosis Society and the British Association of Spine Surgeons. He helps develop national spine policies by working with NHS England.
Mr Jasani gained his medical qualification (MBBS) from the University of London in 1991, after training at St George's Hospital. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of a number of societies including the British Scoliosis Society Executive Board, the British Association of Spine Surgeons, and the British Orthopaedic Association.
