About
Mr Halsey is a fellowship trained Hand Surgeon, working as a consultant since 2014. He spent his childhood near the Lake District, studied at the University of Bristol Medical School, was a junior surgeon in London and completed his specialist orthopaedic training on the Cambridge rotation. He then spent two years gaining additional experience to specialise in hand and wrist surgery with fellowships in London, Melbourne, France and Austria.
Mr Halsey has published, presented and won national prizes for research related to hand, wrist and orthopaedic surgery.
Tim enjoyed working as a substantive Consultant Hand & Wrist Surgeon at the combined Ortho-Plastic Hand Unit at Chelsea & Westminster hospital in London for 4 years, commuting from the Peak District. He is now working closer to home.
Away from work he can usually be found enjoying the outdoors with his wife Rachel, who is a physio, and their three children.
