Mr El-Toukhy is an international expert in the treatment of infertility using assisted conception technology. He qualified at University of Cairo in 1991 and completed both a Masters degree and an MD degree in Gynaecology. Following completion of his subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, he was appointed as a consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery and Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).
A worldwide known figure in the field of recurrent implantation failure, Mr El-Toukhy has published and lecture widely on this topic, both nationally and internationally. He is also the current Chief Investigator of a multinational study examining the role of hysteroscopic surgery in recurrent IVF failure and also a scientific editor for the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Human Reproduction Journal.. His special interests are recurrent implantation failure, hysteroscopic surgery and prevention of OHSS.
Mr El-Toukhy offers a truly personalized fertility treatment plan that is highly successful and gives satisfaction to his patients. He delivers consultations seven days a week. He is a member of the RCOG, British Fertility Society and The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
