Mr Stuart Gould is a highly-experienced Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgeon working in West London and Central London. He covers a broad range of upper and lower GI conditions, but mainly treats gallbladder diseases and umbilical hernia.
He qualified in Medicine from the University of London in 1989 and subsequently chose to specialise in the field of General Surgery. He provides emergency surgery and treatments for hernia and colorectal diseases.
Mr Gould is highly dedicated to education and he teaches and trains at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Furthermore he teaches on many surgical courses and is a Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London.

Could not have been happier with my whole experience. I particularly appreciated the way that Mr Gould took the time to explain issues and the pros and cons of possible treatments. He was also very sensitive to the fact that I have multiple conditions and was very careful to have me checked thoroughly to ensure my safety. I felt that he gave considerable thought to his decisions and advice which was very reassuring. He has fantastic communication skills and was easy to contact, as well as having a kind and cheerful bedside manner. The surgery itself went smoothly and I am recovering well - thank you very very much Mr Gould!

Mr Gould gave a first class service to myself. He was kind, patient, caring and fully explained everything to me. My surgery was very successful and I am exceedingly grateful for his help and expertise. I felt extremely confident with Mr Gould being my surgeon. Mr Gould was extremely pleasant, caring and attentive both pre and post operation which was reassuring and calming for me. Mr Gould swiftly responded to any post operative queries in a very timely manner. I would certainly recommend recommend Mr Gould.

Mr Gould is an excellent surgeon, who has a very broad knowledge and great surgical skills. I have referred may patients to him for surgery for example for reflux disease and have only received positive feedback from patients. He is not just a very good surgeon but also cares for his patients very well after the procedure.
