Consultant urological surgeon Mr Steve Bromage is experienced in all areas of general urology and has a subspecialty interest in urological cancer, particularly renal disease. In the UK, he was the first to perform a laparoscopic partial nephrectomy using a novel green dye to highlight the tumour border.

Mr Bromage is the most incredible consultant surgeon. He effectively saved my life and I cannot thank him enough. I could recommend him to anyone with complete confidence!

Took the time to explain everything I asked about and provided alternative methods for me to choose from regarding my surgery. He gave his opinion as well and explained all the pros and cons of each alternative. Extremely knowledgable and friendly.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Bromage. Whilst my condition wasn't life threatening he made sure that everything was investigated until the correct diagnosis was found. He was extremely professional but also spoke in a tone that was reassuring and spoke in simple terms. A lovely man.

Mr Steve Bromage performed a bi-polar TURP on my prostrate, under epidural anaesthetic, to address total urinary retention at the BMI Alexandra Hospital in October 2021. The operation was highly successful and has restored my urine flow to that of a young man. I could not recommend Mr Bromage highly enough. He is friendly, clear and took great trouble to keep me informed throughout the procedure. I suffered no pain at any stage.
