Mr Mackey explained the procedure beforehand and afterwards explained it was more complicated than he first thought as blood was mixed with the fluid within the hydrocele. Unfortunately after a few days the hydrocele started weeping pus and I also had excruciating pain in my upper left leg and left hip, The pus got worse and I had to go to Southend Hospital A&E via my GP on 21/3/24, and I was admitted to Southend hospital on that evening after waiting for 10 hours in A&E. I was given antibiotics for 11 days and kept in hospital for 4 nights, The wound is now clearing up, but I would like an explanation as to why, despite keeping the wound clean, it became infected,

I am absolutely delighted with the outcome of my Mastopexy surgery performed by Simon P Mackey at the McIndoe Centre in East Grinstead. The results are astonishing, I am so pleased I opted for the Mastopexy rather than Mastopexy and Implants. I would highly recommend Simon P Mackey for this type of surgery – surgeon and magician all in one! Not only is Simon P Mackey a great surgeon, but he also has a great team supporting him. Michele Mellor, Practice Manager and Personal Assistant is an asset to Simon P Mackey - she has the patience of a saint. My availability for consultations, pre ops and the surgery itself were challenging due to my busy professional work calendar. The McIndoe Centre is reflective of a 5-star establishment. The care, attention and not forgetting the catering were exceptional. Neave and Karen were exceptionally professional and caring. A very happy patient Mrs Anonymous
